    The TAS5760M is astereo I2S input device which includes hardware andsoftware (I²C) control modes, integrateddigital clipper, severalgain options, and a wide power supply operating range to enable use in a multitude of applications.The TAS5760M operates with a nominal supply voltage from 4.5 to24 VDC.

    The LM22672 switching regulator provides all of the functions necessary to implement an efficient high voltage step-down (buck) regulator using a minimum of external components. This easy to use regulator incorporates a 42 V N-channel MOSFET switch capable of providing up to 1 A of load current. Excellent line and load regulation along with high efficiency (> 90%) are featured. Voltage mode control offers short minimum on-time, allowing the widest ratio between input and output voltages. Internal loop compensation means that the user is free from the tedious task of calculating the loop compensation components. Fixed 5 V output and adjustable output voltage options are available.

    The default switching frequency is set at 500 kHz allowing for small external components and good transient response. In addition, the frequency can be adjusted over a range of 200 kHz to 1 MHz with a single external resistor. The internal oscillator can be synchronized to a system clock or to the oscillator of another regulator. A precision enable input allows simplification of regulator control and system power sequencing. In shutdown mode the regulator draws only 25 µA (typ). An adjustable soft-start feature is provided through the selection of a single external capacitor. The LM22672 also has built in thermal shutdown, and current limiting to protect against accidental overloads.

    The INA220 is a current shunt and power monitor with an I2C- or SMBUS-compatible interface. The INA220 monitors both shunt drop and supply voltage. A programmable calibration value, combined with an internal multiplier, enables direct readouts in amperes. An additional multiplying register calculates power in watts. The I2C- or SMBUS-compatible interface features 16 programmable addresses. The separate shunt input on the INA220 allows it to be used in systems with low-side sensing.

    The INA220 is available in two grades: A and B. The B grade version has higher accuracy and higher precision specifications.

    The INA220 senses across shunts on buses that can vary from 0 to 26 V, useful for low-side sensing or CPU power supplies. The device uses a single 3- to 5.5-V supply, drawing a maximum of 1 mA of supply current. The INA220 operates from –40°C to 125°C.

    The DRV8871 deviceis a brushed-DC motor driver for printers, appliances, industrial equipment, and other smallmachines. Two logic inputs control the H-bridge driver, which consists of four N-channel MOSFETsthat can control motors bidirectionally with up to 3.6-A peak current. The inputs can bepulse-width modulated (PWM) to control motor speed, using a choice of current-decay modes. Settingboth inputs low enters a low-power sleep mode.

    The DRV8871 devicehas advanced current-regulation circuitry that does not use an analog voltage reference or externalsense resistor. This novel solution uses a standard low-cost, low-power resistor to set the currentthreshold. The ability to limit current to a known level can significantly reduce the system powerrequirements and bulk capacitance needed to maintain stable voltage, especially for motor startupand stall conditions.

    The device is fully protected from faults and short circuits, including undervoltage(UVLO), overcurrent (OCP), and overtemperature (TSD). When the fault condition is removed, thedevice automatically resumes normal operation.

    This CAN transceiver family meets the ISO11898-2 (2016) High Speed CAN (Controller Area Network) physical layer standard. All devices are designed for use in CAN FD networks up to 2 Mbps (megabits per second). Devices with part numbers that include the “G” suffix are designed for data rates up to 5 Mbps, and versions with the “V” have a secondary power supply input for I/O level shifting the input pin thresholds and RXD output level. This family has a low power standby mode with remote wake request feature. Additionally, all devices include many protection features to enhance device and network robustness.

    The TCA9548A device has eight bidirectional translating switches that can be controlledthrough the I2C bus. The SCL/SDA upstream pair fans out to eightdownstream pairs, or channels. Any individual SCn/SDn channel or combination of channels can beselected, determined by the contents of the programmable control register. These downstreamchannels can be used to resolve I2C slave address conflicts. Forexample, if eight identical digital temperature sensors are needed in the application, one sensorcan be connected at each channel: 0-7.

    The system master can reset the TCA9548A in the event of a time-out or other improperoperation by asserting a low in the RESET input. Similarly, the power-onreset deselects all channels and initializes the I2C/SMBus statemachine. Asserting RESET causes the same reset and initialization to occurwithout powering down the part. This allows recovery should one of the downstreamI2C buses get stuck in a low state.

    The pass gates of the switches are constructed so that the VCC pin can be used to limitthe maximum high voltage, which is passed by the TCA9548A. Limiting the maximum high voltage allowsthe use of different bus voltages on each pair, so that 1.8-V, 2.5-V or 3.3-V parts can communicatewith 5-V parts, without any additional protection. External pullup resistors pull the bus up to thedesired voltage level for each channel. All I/O pins are 5-V tolerant.
